There is only one form of protest that is never ignored... the strike.
Also unlike work-strikes, we can do it anywhere, any time, we don't have to risk our jobs, our careers, or our family's safety.
When there are a majority of taxpaying citizens commited to the Federation, enough people that the government cannot possibly treat like criminals, people who simply don't want to support to genocide, you will be able to tax-strike from your home, tax-strike while continuing to earn your living, to support your families, yet you will have more impact than any street protest, and a louder voice than any megaphone.

If you are able and want to support the movement please see the donation page for details. It will be needed as the movement grows, to pay for mass-mobilisation and organisation, but giving your hard-earned money away while you struggle to pay a mortgage is not the most important thing we need, in fact, we need you to keep it. Financially supporting legal cases, investigative journalism, or activist groups, is great, and if you also want to donate to the United Federation of Peace you're very welcome, but none of it will mean as much as promising to join us and stop paying, when the time comes.

Protests are a great way to visibly show our disatisfaction, but governments are making protests increasingly illegal, the corporate media misrepresents protests if they broadcast them at all, and when protests are permitted the police are coached to antagonise them, employing false-flag operations and planting weapons, to try and escalate peaceful protests into violent riots, which authorities then use to justify ever more oppressive powers.
Meanwhile a truly bloody, murderous, union clash, has political leaders shaking hands with strike activists the next day, because the only protests politicians respect are those involving money. Well fortunately we don't need to take to the streets, we don't need violence, bribery or murder, we simply need the courage to refuse to support bad government, together in solidarity.

Letters and appeals, demands for subject debates in the houses of parliament, these are great actions to take... but have you done that five times already? Do you feel like most of the MP's don't take you seriously, how many even turned up for the debate that day?
Don't stop whatever else you're doing, but if you want a voice they cannot ignore, join us.

Do you feel like comments in social media groups are fruitlessly shouting into the void?
We will have chat areas open while they are a net-benefit and good for the Federation community, but as soon as it feels like authorities, bots, or bad-faith instigators are getting involved, it will be limited to a simple signpost-board to ogranise and protect.

Police are being given more authoritarian powers, and people have been arrested not just for peaceful protests but simply talking about them, we don't want or need anyone to incriminate themselves until we are a large enough collective to protect each other. We oppose the murder of thousands of young girls and boys simply looking for safe drinking water. No more needs to be said, we don't need reminding or to discuss any nuances, we need one single message which will be to "begin", with simple instructions on how to proceed in solidarity, and then "we won" when we are able to resume.
(Ending the strike cleanly will be as important as our conduct during, since that will be what ensures the continued safety of the Federation, compliance of the political elite.)

They may arrest some people still, they will probably lie about who people are or what everyone wants, but united we are invincible. They cannot arrest an entire country, or even a tenth of it. If anyone has been arrested or punished in any way for refusing to pay towards the deliberate murder of children, the tax-strike will not end until they are released and pardoned. Taxes will not be "back-payable", this is not a negotiation for better salaries or tax rates or any complicated political doctrine that requires a nuanced democratic debate. This is a simple demand to STOP ARMING ISRAEL. To stop spending UK taxpayer's money directly OR indirectly on any military support for what has been categorically proven to be genocide. Many of us will want them to go further, to oppose Netanyahu beyond Great Britain or to support aid convoys, but for the sake of our unity and to ensure the solidarity of everyone, the demand for now will simply be to stop aiding Israel. You will simply cancel your direct-debits, stop your standing-orders, and keep as much council, corporation and personal tax as you're able, until the UK renounces all support for Israel's genocide and commits to provide no further military, intelligence, material or financial support to them.
If you choose to hold that tax money and send it to HMRC after the government has complied, that will be up to you, however the UFP will call on everyone to support everyone's right to have simpy kept their taxes due during the strike.

If the government tries to intimidate us by using our love of the institutions they have neglected against us, by refusing to pay NHS staff, we will then ask that everyone in the UFP send the taxes they would be paying to somewhere detailed on this website here, which we will send to our nurses, doctors and essential support staff, to ensure the continued (probably better paid) running of essential services.
